Job Brief

A part qualified or fully qualified Management Accountant with knowledge of reconciling accounts, and a knowledge with XERO was the overview of the role that CV Screen were asked to help with.

The role based in the West Midlands, reported to the Director of Finance and required the candidate to commute to the office which was based in a rural area for at least two days per week (therefore a Driving Licence and car was required).

Recruitment Process

We posted an advert on the leading job boards which provided us with over 30 candidates to screen. The majority of the applicants were too far away from the office (or didn’t have their own transport) and were unsuitable.

We also conducted a thorough search on our database and opened our search up to local candidates who had been actively searching for work over the last 12 months (we would normally start with 3 months), which helped us to identify five suitable candidates.

About Stephanie

Stephanie was a part qualified Management Accountant who lives about 20 minutes from the Companies Head Office in Birmingham.

She had been with her current employer for six years and was seeking a new challenge with a company who offered a role with some remote working.

From the outset it was clear that Stephanie was the standout candidate and after two interviews, she accepted the position without hesitation.
