Finance Manager

A Finance Manager with CIMA or ACCA certification is required by our client near Newmarket, Suffolk. A salary of up to £50k is available.

If you believe you have the experience to assist in the growth of a group of companies and work in the Senior Accounting role then please apply. You will have experience developing budgets and financial plans as well as preparing monthly accounts and annual financial statements.

The Finance Manager will work to interpret and analyse costs and revenues to help the MD and senior management team take the correct business decisions. You will take overall control of the company’s accounting function, preparing annual budgets, cash management and liaise with auditors. Production of monthly management accounts is essential experience.

As Finance Manager you will have previous experience managing an accounts team covering ledger accounting and credit control, invoicing, cash and bank monitoring as well as payroll, insurance, pensions and company tax. Knowledge of Sage Line 50 is key as well as staff management.

Required skills:

- Solid budgetary skills

- Monthly account and annual financial statement experience

- Experience managing payroll and pension contributions (Sage Payroll)

- Have a solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles

- Experience of fast changing work environments

- Experience of managing an accounts team
